Summer League 7-10-2023

• New Hanover High School is hosting summer league Monday, July 10.
• Matches will be played in Brogden Hall and NHHS's auxiliary gym located on Princess Street.
• 9-10th grade players, please arrive at Hoggard by 4:30 to warm up. 
• 11-12th grade players, please arrive at Hoggard by 6:00 to warm up.
• Parents are welcome to attend.

Brogden Hall: 9th & 10th Grade

Princess Street Gym: 11th & 12th Grade

Hoggard Volleyball: All Skills Volleyball Camp

• Hoggard Volleyball will provide a three-day volleyball camp for rising 1st-9th graders.

• Cost: $65.00 per athlete (includes a t-shirt)
• When: July 24-26 from 9:00 AM-12:00 PM
• Where: Boles Gym, Hoggard High School​

Dragonfly Pre-Participation

• NHCS requires all athletes to complete the athletic pre-participation process through Dragonfly for the 2023-2024 school year before participating in any NHCS/Hoggard athletics workouts.​​

Summer Workouts​

• Please check the Hoggard Volleyball calendar for summer workout dates and times.
• Summer workouts are voluntary and open to all athletes currently enrolled at Hoggard High School (including rising 9th graders).
• No athlete will be allowed to participate in any Hoggard Volleyball workouts until a coaching staff member confirms their eligibility in Dragonfly.
• Please complete the Summer Volleyball Contact Form if you would like to receive email updates regarding summer volleyball activities.

Summer League

• Summer league provides an opportunity for area volleyball teams to scrimmage during the summer off-season. This year's summer league teams are Hoggard, Ashley, Coastal Christian, New Hanover, Topsail, and South Brunswick.
• Please complete the Summer League form if your athlete is planning to participate. Summer league is voluntary, but we'd like to have an idea of how many players will be in attendance so that we can plan accordingly.
• Dates for summer league:​​
  • July 10 at New Hanover High School (NHHS)
  • July 24 at NHHS
• Times for summer league:
  • Grades 9-10 will play from 5:00-6:30 pm. 
  • Grades 11-12 will play from 6:30-8:00 pm.
  • Athletes should arrive 30 minutes before play begins. 
• There is no set attire for summer league games, but feel free to wear a Hoggard shirt or Hoggard colors if you have one.
• Parents are welcome to attend, and admission is free.
• No athlete will be allowed to participate in any summer league matches until a coaching staff member confirms their eligibility in Dragonfly.

Hoggard Volleyball Tryouts

• Athletes must be eligible in Dragonfly to participate in Hoggard Volleyball tryouts.
• When: July 31-August 2
• Where: Boles Gym
